When the whole city drifts into dreams, only I remain—trapped within four walls, sleepless.
I pause, take a breath, and gaze out the window, wondering if the world has forgotten I’m still here.
Looking far, then near, I suddenly notice someone else, too, confined in a tiny box.
Day after day, night after night, our silent glances soften the weight of longing, and sleep feels just a little closer.

In my eyes, there is you; in yours, there is me—two hearts reflecting, imprinting upon each other.
Cars pass, breezes drift, shadows of trees sway. And here we are, leaning by the window, quietly holding back the flow of time, resisting the turning of the world—together.

At five in the morning, the sky is brushed with a deep, gentle blue.
Some wrestle with sleeplessness; some have just finished a night shift; others, after bidding farewell at a party, walk alone through silent streets. Each believes the world belongs only to themselves. Yet, as they glance around, streetlights still shimmer. Neon signs cling to old façades, and the corner store remains open. Slowly, the weight of sorrow begins to lift, eyelids grow heavy.
Then, a warm glow seeps into the horizon, and all I wish is to whisper to you—still awake—“Good night, good night.”

Through the window, two distant figures exchange glances, as if words hover on their lips yet cannot find their way out.
Though separated by space, gazing at the same moon draws an invisible thread, gently pulling two hearts closer.
Even the buildings seem to meet eye to eye, with only a thin layer of air between them.
And so, two rooms can feel this near.
